Suranjana Ghosh is something unusual as a female tabla master from India. In India it's very rare with female tabla masters qualified at this high level. Suranjana gives regular concerts in India and Europe. She got her first tabla lektions at the age of four by her father , and plays today in the tradition of Lucknow Gharana.
